Chiruca presents the 2026 edition of “Your Camino de Santiago Notebook”
Chiruca is launching a revamped version with a new design to continue supporting pilgrims before, during and after the Camino.
Following the success of the 2025 edition, the brand is launching a revamped version with a completely updated design. A more practical A5 format and more intuitive interior pages to continue supporting pilgrims before, during and after the Camino.
Chiruca presents the 2026 edition of “Your Camino de Santiago Notebook”. A revamped version of the publication created to accompany pilgrims at every stage of their pilgrimage. Following the magnificent reception of the previous edition, for which demand far exceeded initial forecasts. The brand is once again providing walkers with a notebook that has been improved in both design and functionality.
New Features
The main new feature of this edition is its new A5 format, which replaces the previous square design to offer a publication that is more convenient to carry and use along the Camino. This change responds to the needs of pilgrims. Who are looking for a lightweight, handy and practical notebook to carry in their rucksack and consult at any point along the route.
Furthermore, the notebook features a completely revamped design and a reorganised layout. With a clearer and more intuitive structure that makes it easier to record each stage, make personal notes and compile memories of the pilgrimage.
A tool for the pilgrim
More than just a travel diary, “Your Camino de Santiago Notebook” has established itself as a tool designed to help each pilgrim prepare for their journey. Plan their training, note down their expectations, record the kilometres covered, reflect on the emotions experienced at each stage and keep the stamps collected during the pilgrimage. A travelling companion which, upon completing the Camino, becomes a personal memento of a unique experience.
“The response we received to the 2025 edition was even better than we had hoped. Thousands of pilgrims embraced the notebook and shared their feedback and suggestions with us. Thanks to that experience, this new edition incorporates numerous improvements that make it more user-friendly, intuitive and practical. We wanted the notebook to be even more useful along the Camino, which is why we’ve opted for a more manageable A5 format and reorganised its contents. Without losing sight of the essence that gave rise to this project: to help every pilgrim experience and remember their Camino in a very personal way,” say representatives from Chiruca.
The new guidebook remains true to the philosophy of the original project, incorporating the experience gained over the past year and the contributions of numerous pilgrims to offer a publication that is even better tailored to the real needs of those travelling the various routes to Santiago.
Chiruca’s connection with the Way of St James
With this initiative, Chiruca reaffirms its close connection with the Way of St James, a relationship consolidated over the years through the publication of guides to the main pilgrimage routes — the French Way, the Primitive Way, the Northern Way and the Silver Route, amongst others — and the development of tools that help to enhance the experience of walkers.
The 2026 edition will have a print run of 20,000 copies, which will be distributed free of charge at hostels, tourist offices and pilgrim information points along the main routes of the Camino de Santiago.
The official launch took place on Friday 17 July in Santiago de Compostela, at an event organised by 20xvinte, the Galician publishing house specialising in tourist guides with which Chiruca has been collaborating on this project since its inception.
With this new publication, Chiruca is consolidating an initiative that aims to become a point of reference for thousands of pilgrims and an annual event for those who wish to prepare for, experience and look back on the Camino de Santiago. A notebook designed to accompany every step of the journey and to preserve, forever, the memories of an experience that leaves a lasting impression.
