Follow these instructions and you’ll extend the lifespan of your footwear:
After each use, leave them to air so that any moisture can dry out naturally. Don’t try to dry them quickly by putting them close to a heat source (such as a radiator, fireplace, etc...) because the leather will dry out and become stiff.
Absorb any dampness from inside by stuffing the shoe with newspaper.
When they are dry, brush them gently to remove any loose dirt.
Clean them only with a cloth and warm or slightly soapy water. Wax, silicone and oil can clog the pores in the material and destroy the footwear’s breathability.
Then, rub Chiruca natural cream over the footwear. This will nourish the leather and prevent cracking.
Use Chiruca water repellent regularly, which will prevent the footwear from becoming heavier by keeping the leather and Cordura dry. It also repels dirt and stains.
Eliminate bacteria and unpleasant odours with Chiruca deodorant.
